I have just finish creating my first Blog. I am looking forward to working through each week's lesson, while gaining a better understanding in the use of these new technologies.
As society develops towards using more web base communications, library staff need to be aware and develop an attitute to promote lifelong learning so they can keep abreast of these changes. Even our politians are using MySpace and YouTube to channel information to the public.

It's great that you see the value of Learning 2.0 and its related technologies. it is so true that if we don't keep up with these trends (emerging & otherwise) we will simply be left behind. After all, if the pollies can do it I'm sure we can too (and make a much better job of it!).
